Whether after school, at a recreation center, church or in a park, 4-H programming is delivered through a variety of short-term sessions, projects and/or events – led by a passionate volunteer, staff member, parent or community member who cares deeply about working with youth in a particular subject area.

Our most readily view-able out-of-school time 4-H programs during the school year are those we offer in partnership with Denver Parks and Recreation. Currently our programs are featured in 10 different Denver recreation centers as a part of the MY Denver Program. If you or your family is interested in a cooking experience where youth are the focus, send us an email and we can send you the details of the location nearest you!

Denver 4-H also offers camps, exchanges, and other enriching programs and activities outside of school time throughout the year!  Topics and themes will vary from season to season.  Here are some of the yearly Denver 4-H opportunities:
