4-H Youth Development
Each year, nearly 100,000 Colorado youth benefit from Extension’s 4-H programs by participating in hands-on programs including: natural resource science, rocketry, foods and nutrition, animal science, photography and more. As a result, youth learn valuable life skills such as leadership, ethics, decision making, team work, responsibility and community service. Yard & Garden / Horticulture
Supporting home gardeners and the green industry in the challenges with gardens, landscapes, trees, shrubs, lawns, insects, vegetables, fruit production and more. We have the resources to help you be successful. We can help with soil testing, crop planning, insect and pathogen identification and help with all of your questions and concerns. We can also connect you to other great local, regional and national resources.

Denver Master Gardeners
The Colorado Master Gardener Program is a community-based, horticulture training and volunteer program through CSU Extension.  After completing in-depth training, Master Gardeners help the gardening public solve their horticulture-related problems with scientific, research-based knowledge, while providing meaningful outreach.

Nutrition Education
Helping Colorado and Denver residents acquire the knowledge, skills and behaviors necessary to maintain healthy lifestyles; reduce the incidence and severity of selected lifestyle-related diseases; and improve safe food practices—from farm to table—to reduce food-borne illness.

Extension Programs are available to all without discrimination. If you have a need for which you seek an accommodation, please notify our team at least 14 days before the event or program.
